What you have to know about the transportation of Saudi exhibits

1. Some products, such as electronic products and medical products, transported to Saudi Arabia need to apply for SASO and apply to the nearby Chinese Chamber of Commerce. It depends on the specific packing list.

2. CO certification is required for transportation to Saudi Arabia, and the CO in Saudi Arabia needs to be countersigned by the Chamber of Commerce.

3. The packing list invoice shall be stamped and signed by the shipper, and the original shall be sent to the Chamber of Commerce for endorsement.

4. The customs in Jeddah, Riyadh will certainly check the goods, and the packaging of the exhibits should be easy to open, easy to pack and firm

5. All products and packaging materials must be engraved with the statement "Made in Country".

6. In case of inspection by the customs and other departments, the inspection fees and other extra expenses such as warehouse rent incurred due to customs inspection shall be reimbursed according to actual conditions.

7. All expenses are limited to normal working hours (8:00 a.m. - 17:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday). If the exhibitors require to provide services on weekends, holidays and other abnormal working hours, or need to provide auxiliary equipment or hire labor, or need to store packaging materials on behalf of the exhibitors, they will make a separate quotation according to the requirements of the exhibitors (Thursday and Friday in Saudi Arabia are weekends)

8. Tobacco, wine, textiles, pork products, food and books and magazines related to Islamic religion are all restricted goods. If there are goods mixed with such goods, exhibitors should not mix the above items in the exhibits, otherwise they should bear the consequences.

9. It is recommended not to bring color pages or CDs, etc. If the product contains color pages, CDs and other consumables, they should be directly sent to the agency about 3 weeks before the launch, which should be submitted to the cultural department for review. After the review is passed, the agency can arrange the customs clearance of the goods. Therefore, if passing with the goods, the customs clearance rate will be delayed and unnecessary warehouse rent and other costs will be incurred.
